Altered Class Hours For SBG's Jiu Jitsu Classes

Altered Class Hours For SBG's Jiu Jitsu Classes

Straight Blast Gym Buford will not be holding any BJJ classes for kids or adults on Saturday, March 14, as we compete at the NewBreed Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament.

On March 14th, NewBreed will be hosting a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition in McDonough, GA.  NewBreed represents a great opportunity for the men, women, and child athletes of Straight Blast Gym Buford to compete against other athletes from other martial arts gyms.  We have a history of bringing a large contingency of athletes to NewBreed, as well as having a history of doing incredibly well at NewBreed!

At the last NewBreed jiu jitsu event, Straight Blast Gym’s kids went 23-2 in their BJJ match-ups!!

If you are a Straight Blast Gym jiu jitsu athlete, or the parent of a Straight Blast Gym jiu jitsu athlete, and want to compete in NewBreed, click on the link at the bottom of this page.

Early registration ends on February 23rd.  Register before then if you want to save $10 on your admission dues.  The final day to register is March 10th.

SBG Buford will send its jiu jitsu coaches to the event to coach our athletes through the whole process.  If this is your first martial arts competition, having trusted coaches there will do wonders for your anxiety and nerves.

If your child is one of our Leadership athletes, this is an opportunity for them to earn their Coaching Chevron.  We will be sending out postcards with the kids that are expected to teach at NewBreed.
